New Posts This Month…
Gluten & Dairy Free
I’ve been doing the Delishly Gluten/Dairy free subscription for a few months now and been rather impressed by it, it’s introduced me to a lot of different companies and foods that I’d never heard of or considered. During this time I have been getting constant ads for another company that does the same and bumbled upon a third, me being me I decided to do a comparison so this month I had a delivery from Delishly, Love Free From, and GF Yourself which you can read about above (except GF Yourself as that came later in the month and I haven’t finished all the products)
Additionally a throw away comment was made about beer which prompted me to try a variety box from Best of British Beer - you can read about that above but long story cut short, I won’t be doing that again but instead will be buying cases from different breweries to try some GF beers!
Level 2 Photography
On the 11th I received my Level 2 Photography Certificate with my credits which I’m rather chuffed by. I didn’t do the course with any intention of taking it into a job or the like but to learn how to use my camera and take photos better. So from that it doesn’t hold a lot of value, but it’s something I’m very happy to have complete, especially considering the teacher wasn’t the best. I am now wondering if I should start looking into doing something else - perhaps looking into Video Editing, I did do my first unboxing video and played with video editing software for the first time which you can see here.
Social Media
I’ve shut down my Sighing Bear Facebook account and also removed Facebook from my phone as I’m sick to death of the algorithm spamming me with things that I don’t want to see. I’ll be keeping my Insta alive as I can curate that, but I’m also ditching Threads which I was finding to be irritating to manage.
Music
Dresden Dolls Gig @ Electric Brixton - Fantastic gig and my first visit to Brixton which I really enjoyed and long to go back to. You can read more about the gig here.
Someday, sky - I was meant to go and see Someday, sky perform at Casemates, as well as HTHR, unfortunately the plague got me and I missed out on this. However I have been listening to their music on YouTube Music which I really like.
Formula 1
Monza, Italy - What a weekend! What a race! I was shocked see LeClerc come off at the start but relieved to see he got out of the car. I adore Kimi and was not expecting to see him come out in P1 starting back in P19 (although I did semi-joke he would do it)! I do feel he is taking a lot of hate from the George Russell fanbase which is really unfair.
Madring, Spain - In contrast to Monza this was such a boring race. It was lovely to see Kimi come in P1 again however I do really feel for Lando who should have come in P1, but that’s the way of racing, lots of skill, communication, teamwork, and a coating of luck. Also it seems Russell has resigned himself to be Driver 2, hopefully this will help him perform better without the added pressure. Still, boring track and needs some overtake zones!
Baku, Azerbaijan - Fantastic race from Russell and so good to see Antonelli make some gains. The start of the race was a little dull but it very soon became quite exciting with me on the edge of my seat after the two rolling starts. I really felt for Lando in that race though, as well as Gasly with the Alpine collision. After Madring this race was a thrilling race.
