RHOBH: S15, E06 - Star Signs and Bad Times

The Episode…

In this episode we started with a shopping trip with Rachel and Boz which had me in stitches at times, the two of them are great fun together and seem to be building a proper friendship which is lovely to see.

Seeds of destruction are planted by Kyle and aimed at Sutton and Tilly.

We have a psychic reading where Amanda drops a bombshell to defend herself against Dorit - although part of me wonders if it was the production team having the housewives stir up things about Amanda on this particular day?

The Housewives…

Erika Girardi (Jayne) - What an outfit this episode. She makes anything look stunning. I adore how open she is about sex with Natalie, she’s so not prudish which is so refreshing.

Kyle Richards - She dropped Tilly in it during this episode, adding in that Tilly said Sutton creates the problems, which wasn’t what Tilly said last episode (granted it could have been editted out, but I don’t see that being something she would say about Sutton)

Dorit Kemsley - I’m confused by her. She’s celebrating a new book deal while still married, so half of what she’s earnt isn’t even hers. Her management team look like kids too and seemed rather bored by her at the meeting. At the end she questioned Amanda about talking about PK, where Amanda dropped the bombshell, Dorit dialed it back and said she was curious but we could talk at a later time, Amanda did continue with the subject. I feel with the edits Dorit could have had more compassion, but she wasn’t outright hostile.

Sutton Stracke/Brown - I was iffy about Sutton at the start but she does seem to be trying to turn her life around. There are elements of the old her still there, but she’s owning that and apologising for it, especially when it came to the Tilly chat, it was obvious that the two genuinely cared about one another.

Bozoma Saint John - She tells it as it is without holding back, with her views on Amanda being spot on. It’s been really interesting hearing more of her fertility story, what she’s going through, and how it’s all going.

Rachel Zoe - The more I watch of Rachel the more I enjoy seeing her and having that insight into her life, she has very quickly jumped to my second favourite housewife and I would love to see more of her and Erika together.

Amanda Francis - The usual one upping and bragging about herself, it’s so boring. I feel the episode was heavily focused on her lost child, which is a massive tragedy. However I do feel her bringing it up when she did and how she did was calculated and to a degree she used her child as a shield.

Jennifer Tilly - Still adoring her and what she brings to the table, style, humour, and just general life experience. She doesn’t try to be something else like a lot of the housewives, she just is Jennifer Tilly.

Kathy Hilton - It’s worrying when she seems to be the voice of reason, but she’s fantastic to watch.

Although neither Jennifer or Kathy are housewives this season, they are in it a lot, and a lot more active than some of the housewives, frankly I’d be happy to see Jennifer and Kathy replace Kyle and Amanda, maybe Dorit.

After Show…

I’ve not much to say on the After Show other than I feel that how the housewives are split is an indication of loyalties; Kathy, Sutton, and Tilly; Erika and Rachel; Amanda and Kyle. However I feel Dorit and Boz have just been tagged together. Amanda and Kyle irk me and I feel they are the villains of the season.
