RHOBH: S15, E05 - Not Feeling the Healing
The Episode…
Still in Sedona some of the girls hiked up to a Vortex while the others went on a shopping spree in town. Splitting the party meant that the groups could chat amongst themselves and with Dorit and Kyle in different groups the obvious topic was that Kyle didn’t have Dorit’s back. I can’t blame her though - she’s friends with PK, and by the sounds of it, it’s Dorit that’s blocking PK from seeing the kids.
The girls got together in the evening to cook their own meal in their fancy clothes, which was quite a sight, and a bit of a giggle.
Finishing this episode there was an airport culinary delight filled with tension between Sutton and Amanda, and Tilly speaks out about Sutton and Garcelle.
The Housewives…
Erika Girardi (Jayne) - The more I watch of Erika the more I love her. She dresses in such a casual way, a practical way, but with that subtle flare. She has become the most grounded of them all, the one who imparts great wisdom. I do adore seeing her on screen.
Kyle Richards - Although there was talks about the PK situation and Dorit, Kyle wasn’t really on screen much this episode.
Dorit Kemsley - In this episode it was brought up that according to Mo, Dorit is the one that is blocking PK from seeing his children, which I find to be a more realistic view on the situation between them.
Sutton Stracke/Brown - Has no appreciation for other people’s time (much like Dorit), if you’re going to be somewhere at a certain time you arrive early, not hours late - especially when you’re cooking for people! The whole Avi thing is a massive trigger for Sutton and it does seem there’s more to this story (I’m going to speculate that they hooked up, or some sort of relationship brewed and was shot down) that Sutton is reluctant to reveal. She also had a single therapy session with her Mum, it’s a start but one session is not enough!
Bozoma Saint John - Once more we continue with Boz’s fertility story and the side effects of it. I’m so glad she’s in this season and willing to show this aspect of her journey.
Rachel Zoe - The more I see her on screen the more I enjoy, she’s becoming a favourite character of mine.
Amanda Francis - I get the impression that everyone finds Amanda really annoying and that the edits try to portray her as less annoying, but she’s a nightmare. I understand her bringing up Avi in a “FYI this is being said” but I feel she is doing it in an underhanded way to get more screen time, she is the antagonist of this season. She still continues to brag about things, I feel she’s very insecure.
Jennifer Tilly - As crazy as ever and an utter joy to watch. She spoke up against Sutton in this episode which really surprised me.
Kathy Hilton - Very little screen time this episode, but her quirkiness was all over the place.
After Show…
The Erika/Rachel combination in the After Show is such a great seating, I’d be happy to watch those two alone pick apart each episode. I particularily liked it when Erika lost her earring and was completely transfixed on it, she looked so cute.
Amanda doubled down on not having any agenda in that episode, I do feel Kyle and Amanda are best suited together, they are much alike in some respects.
Watching Tilly, Sutton, and Kathy was a laugh that I enjoyed, at a point where they were talking about Avi, Kathy was in hysterics which gave ms eom very happy feels.
