RHOBH: S15, E08 - Do You Remember?!?
The Episode & After Show…
Erika and Dorit’s birthday meal continues; as does the accosting of one another. Amanda shifts the blame to Kyle, who shows some of her true colours throughout the episode.
Rachel lays out her authentic self and shows vulnerability, a trait that many housewives don’t seem to fully grasp. Hitting home with the fact that we all need support from our friends sometimes without the judgement.
It’s a Kyle heavy episode in my opinion.
I decided to re-order my list of housewives from my favourite down to my least favourite.
The Housewives…
Erika Girardi (Jayne) - Hit it spot on about Kyle; she needs to stop getting in the middle of PK and Dorit. (As a side note; Erika’s boyfriend supporting Trump is concerning to me)
Rachel Zoe - Seeing her being vulnerable on screen made such a big impact on me. She understands what it’s like to mask, to try and be stoic through shit, she hit it on the head with that need for support and not judgement when you’re going through a tough situation. Seeing her open up like that was… I mean it was sad, but it was beautiful. At this rate she may end up being my favourite housewife...
Bozoma Saint John - It was sad to hear about Boz’s fertility treatment and how that’s going. Also, she called out Amanda which is something I love about her.
Dorit Kemsley - Dorit has never been one of my favourite housewives, she talks, and talks, and is so irritating a lot of the time, however I feel her style has improved over the past two seasons. This said, in this episode she was 100% on the right. When you’re with friends you want that support, “100%! That’s terrible!” even if you don’t mean it, you don’t want to be judged for what you’re going through. The combination of what Dorit and Rachel said in this episode really hit home.
Sutton Stracke/Brown - Another quiet episode, she’s really mellowed out.
Kyle Richards - Kyle is sitting on the fence between Dorit and PK (although heavily leaning towards favouring PK it would seem) while offering no real support to Dorit in action. She’s kind of guided Amanda in the direction that she’s headed. Also, Jenn is her friend and PA… So, Jenn is her paid friend? To add, how rude was it for her to bring out both cakes even when Dorit wasn’t there? Further, she was so petty and hostile towards Mau during the wedding planning - also, yes, budget, there has to be one. You can see which of the two kept the budgets in order!
Amanda Francis - What the actual fuck is going on with this woman? She acts like she’s a twenty year old with no understanding of the real world, or even the housewives world.
