RHOBH: S15, E07 - Headlines and Heartbreak
The Episode…
Rachel and Erika get together to talk about the bombshell Amanda dropped at the dinner, meanwhile Kyle hears directly from Amanda how she felt attacked by Dorit (sorry, what?)
Mau invades the dinner with the girls, turning up out of nowhere and having a chat, Dorit brings up wanting Mau’s number infront of Kyle, it felt a bit like she was angling at how Kyle used to have a back and forth with PK.
Birthday dinner for Dorit and Erika, where the girls dress up to the nines, all looking particular stunning, especially Tilly in her colourful dress! Dorit and Amanda start the conversation about PK, but Amanda seems to want to have it in private, away from the dinner table.
The Housewives…
Erika Girardi (Jayne) - She is a person who I feel has your back, she’s open and authentic, and made me laugh when she asked about the number of the person who gave Natalie a happy ending, she’s comfortable with who she is.
Kyle Richards - It was actually nice to see her being emotional about her old house and how much Amanda has butchered it. It’s a glimpse into a ‘real’ Kyle.
Dorit Kemsley - l with the edits Dorit could have had more compassion, but she wasn’t outright hostile.
Sutton Stracke/Brown - Barely in this episode at all, but that’s not a bad thing.
Bozoma Saint John - She hit it on the head with Amanda and her reaction to Dorit; Amanda did use her child as a shield to shut down the conversation!
Rachel Zoe - The more I watch of her the more I enjoy especially with her and Erika together, they seem like they share the same values, are both open and down to earth. Thoroughly enjoying her as an addition to the housewives.
Amanda Francis - Oh gods… She’s clearly watched the show before, she knew what she was getting into, but she doesn’t seem to have a clue. There is something extremely off and calculated about this woman that makes me feel extremely uncomfortable when she’s on screen.
After Show…
First thing is first; did anyone else notice that in the jump to 2026 Amanda wasn’t in any of the clips? Instead Natalie was there. Could Amanda be on the out and Natalie replacing her? I’m hoping so as Natalie seems to be an open and authentic woman like Erika - we need more sexualy positive people on the show!
There was a big focus on the word “accosted” which was ridiculous, Amanda is doubling down in her victim mentality. When she asks Kyle about it Kyle reacts in a very diplomatic way, obviously not agreeing with her, but wanting to put the whole thing to bed “Yeah, sure sure”
The banter between Erika and Rachel is beyond fantastic and I would be so happy to watch a show with the two of them; they both make me happy with laughter and have some real chemistry. I am hopeful that the season doesn’t throw in conflict between the two of them.
